The Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) is closed.
The Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) was a Government of Canada initiative that promoted economic development in rural Eastern Ontario regions and served as a catalyst for many communities promoting the creation of new projects and new jobs, the objective of which was to create a competitive and sustainable local economy. The EDOP program was delivered by 15 Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in Eastern Ontario. EODP financing, in the form of nonrepayable contributions, supported businesses whose project targeted community development and/or innovation.

The Rural Eastern Ontario Innovation Initiative (REOII) funding was allocated to innovative projects from businesses and organizations located in the Prescott and Russell area that would:
The Rural Eastern Ontario Innovation Initiative (REOII) funding was allocated to innovative projects from businesses and organizations located in the Prescott and Russell area that would:
- increase the number of high-growth businesses;
- strengthen key clusters and build on areas of regional innovation strength;
- increase the commercialization of new and innovative technologies, products or processes;
- create and maintain highly skilled jobs;
- increase the value of exports;
- promote inclusive growth and participation of traditionally under-represented groups such as women, Indigenous and young entrepreneurs;
- strengthen opportunities and networks to drive growth, and support the attraction and retention of businesses and talent to the Prescott and Russell region.

The Assistance and Recovery Fund for Francophone Businesses and Organizations in Southern Ontario (FAREOSO) is closed.
The Assistance and Recovery Fund for Francophone Businesses and Organizations in Southern Ontario (FAREOSO) was dedicated to existing francophone entrepreneurs and businesses with an active francophone offer, located in southern Ontario, including rural and urban regions.
FAREOSO contributions provided access to conditional non-repayable contributions of up to $20,000 to francophone entrepreneurs to help revive their businesses, the cost of expenses necessary to safely reopen or to adopt digital technologies to move much of their businesses online.
