2026 PRESIDENT DISTINCTION AWARD
The Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation is proud to announce the fourth recipient of the 2026 President’s Distinction Award. Each year, during its Annual General Meeting, the PRCDC honors a person from Prescott and Russell for their commitment to the community, their contribution to community’s economic development, and their support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem by presenting them with the President’s Distinction Award. This person, chosen by the members of the Board of Directors of the PRCDC, is recognized, among other things, for their contribution to regional economic growth, for their contribution to strengthening links between SMEs and the community, the promotion of local purchasing and without forgetting their LEADERSHIP.
This year, during its 40th anniversary and 40th AGM, the PRCDC has chosen none other than Mr. Mark Kelly, owner of KB Media Corp. in Casselman, outgoing president of the Prescott-Russell Chamber of Commerce, and vice-president of the Fédération des gens d’affaires francophones de l’Ontario.
Mark has played a significant role in developing and strengthening our business community. Through his leadership, commitment, and drive, he has helped give a voice to entrepreneurs and bring together businesses, organizations, and partners across our region. He has helped build bridges, forge connections, and strengthen an entrepreneurial ecosystem where people can meet, collaborate, innovate, and grow together.” states Patrick Brousseau, Chairperson for the PRCDC.
Funded by the Government of Canada through FedDev Ontario, the Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation is the only organization supporting the economic development of communities and businesses in the territory of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
