2025 PRESIDENT DISTINCTION AWARD

2025 PRESIDENT DISTINCTION AWARD

The Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation is proud to announce the third recipient of the President Distinction Award.

Each year during its Annual General Meeting, the PRCDC will honor a person from Prescott-Russell for their commitment to the community, their contribution to community economic development, and their support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem by presenting them with the President’s Award.

This person chosen by the members of the Board of Directors of the PRCDC is recognized, among other things, for their contribution to regional economic growth, for their contribution to strengthening links between SMEs and the community, the promotion of local purchasing and without forgetting their LEADERSHIP.

“This year the PRCDC has chosen none other than Ms Murielle Huneault Pilon, Performance Strategist Manager for the Prescott-Russell Employment Services Centre. Her exceptional commitment to the employability sector has played a key role in boosting the local economy. Through her work at the Prescott-Russell Employment Services Centre, she has implemented effective strategies to promote professional integration, continuing education, and skills development of many citizens. Thanks to her leadership, several initiatives have emerged, and her actions have enabled many people—young people, women, and newcomers to find sustainable employment and regain their economic independence.” states Luc Filion, Chairperson of the PRCDC.

Funded by the Government of Canada through FedDev Ontario, the Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation is the only organization supporting the economic development of communities and businesses in the territory of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
